DREAMING PLACES

Dreaming Places is a project which explores how we create our world subconsciously. The first phase was commissioned by Creative Innovation Centre, funded by Arts Council England and Universities South West. It is now available for touring.
How the experience works
People download the App from the App Store/Google Play. It gives them information about the project and includes a privacy policy which details how their data will be used. They open the App as they go to bed. There is an audio track of a story which plays. They sleep. In the morning they use the simple functions on the App to record their Dream. They can listen to a preview and delete/save.
The Dreams are saved onto a server which connect with the installation.
Bed Installation
GPS enabled beds are installed outside in public space which connect with the App and allow people to listen to the dreams of the people in that place.
